ENGL 4460. Advanced Fiction Writing. 3 Hours.
Prerequisites: C or better in one of the following: ENGL 2111, ENGL 2111H, ENGL 2112, ENGL 2112H, ENGL 2113, or ENGL 2113H. A workshop-intensive course in fiction writing. Students will produce their own work and study narrative alternatives and storytelling strategies. Students will also read book-length story collections and/or novels and write stylistic analyses of a major contemporary writer. Repeatable once for credit.
