MGED 4790. Student Teaching in the Middle Grades. 10 Hours.
Prerequisites: EDUC 2999; completion of all core and previous semester professional courses (professional courses with a "C" or higher) as listed in the University's undergraduate catalog and a minimum GPA of 2.75. Co-requisite: MGED 4800. Graded "Satisfactory" or "Unsatisfactory". The culminating clinical experience specific to the teaching field and certification sought. Clinical Practice is a full-day, semester-long student teaching experience in which candidates fully engage in the processes of planning, instruction, and assessment under the immediate supervision of a mentor teacher and with the additional support of a university supervisor.
